This page is dedicated to the loving memory of all those precious animals that have passed over the rainbow bridge. They were all loved and dearly missed.

Pictured at right is Toby, he was a Pygmy wether and the very first goat kid born on the ranch. He was Pam's favorite little buddy. Toby was very old when he crossed the rainbow bridge.

Heidi is a large Saanen doe and that came to us bred to a Saanen buck. Heidi had a kind and sweet disposition. We allowed Heidi to nurse her two bucklings, that were born on 02/22/05, for as long as she was able. We kept the smallest buckling in honor of her memory. Heidi passed away 04/22/05 from a tumor that caused a shutdown of her rumen.

Daisy May was purchased the same time as Lily and was so tiny she rode home in my lap (which she promptly peed on me). Daisy was a Nigerian Dwarf and is pictured above with her 2003 doeling, Shasta, from her first freshening. Daisy passed away 5 days after delivering her 2005 triplets. She retained a fourth kids that the vet didn't detect during an exam after kidding.

Genny was a Saanen doe that had the best udder of any dairy goat that we ever had. She milked out over a gallon a day at her first freshening. Unfortunately with that nice udder came a tendency towards mastitis. Genny passed away from gangrenous mastitis even after months of treatment and a full udder amputation. Necropsy revealed that the gangrene penetrated the abdominal wall and was in her internal organs.

Nutmeg was a tiny Shetland pony. She gave many little kids their first pony ride and was always very patient and affectionate with them. In Aug. of 2008 we found Nutmeg in her stall early one morning having seizures and passed away an hour later of a massive stroke.
