Why "Cisco Networking" and not just "Cisco Routers?". In order to understand how routers connect networks, you first must understand the fundamentals of networking. The lessons on these pages are designed as a study aid in preparation for the CCNA certification (however, before taking your CCNA certification test, I strongly urge you to get some sort of hands-on experience working with routers.) Each lesson will begin with basic terminology, some lessons may include Power Point presentation or extra documents, please download these first or feel free to download the entire lesson. This is a work in progress, more lessons will be added each week (time permitting), so please check back each week for updates and new lessons. If these lessons in Cisco routing are helpful to you or you have some suggestions, please send me an e-mail and let me know. I only have so much server space and will only continue these pages if there is an interest in them. [Please Note] Although I am certified as a CCNA and a Novell Network Engineer and Instructor, the lessons I provide free of charge are not certified or backed by Cisco or its affiliates. Lesson are from an accumulation of my experience of working in the networking field and also from teaching networking courses at Polk Community College. Some material my be a little outdated (I can only update so often).
