Riding Lessons

Here at Crooked Pine Ranch, we teach basic beginning horsemanship, English Pleasure, Hunter/Jumpers, and beginning through intermediate Dressage. Below is listing of our rates and lesson plans. Click here for the required riding attire and rule of etiquette.

*At this time, we will no longer be offering riding lessons. Our two lesson ponies are taking time off to be mothers. See the "Meet the Herd" page to see their darling new foals.

Intro Lesson Packages

- Beginning lesson package 1; $55 for 3 (1 hour) lessons. Students learn to groom, tack-up, and cool down horse in addition to learning the fundamentals of riding.

- Beginning lesson package 2; $190 for 10 (1 hour) lessons.

- Beginning lesson package 3; $300 for 20 (1 hour) lessons.

Half hour and hourly rates

- Half hour rate for beginning through intermediate English Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, or Dressage lessons; $15.

- Hour lessons for beginning through intermediate English Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, or Dressage lessons; $20.

- Hour group lessons (more than 2 and less than 6), for beginning through intermediate English Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, or Dressage lessons; $15.

- Hour lessons for advanced Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, or Cross-Country training; $30

Leasing

- Leasing will be based on individual needs and availability of ponies and horses. Leased ponies and horses will remain boarded at the ranch and must have owner's consent when leaving for shows or other functions. Ponies and horses are leased on a monthly, yearly, or for individual shows.
